We celebrated my birthday at Published on Main, and the experience was absolutely exceptional. The warm and welcoming service started right at the entrance. The restaurant itself isn’t very large but accommodates many tables comfortably. Our servers provided us with numerous recommendations, and both of them were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I’m always curious about the dishes that earn a restaurant its Michelin recognition. When I asked, the staff recommended the Wagyu beef, scallop, winter squash, and smoked & candied sablefish. We followed their suggestions and ordered our meal and drinks. Initially, I was concerned that the portions (smaller compared to regular restaurants) might not be filling, but the food was so flavorful and satisfying that it exceeded my expectations. Each dish was beautifully presented and explained to us, turning the meal into a delightful, almost theatrical experience. At the end, the restaurant surprised us with a thoughtful gift—a small bag of chocolate sweets and a gift card for our next visit, which we’re already planning.

The service was fantastic. Very attentive and thoughtful. The plating was immaculate. Food was slightly underwhelming but I might chalk that up to just ordering the wrong things. The milk buns and burrata were both outstanding however. I would definitely like to come back and try the tasting menu at some point. All together it was a lovely experience.

we had the half tasting menu and a coupla glasses of wine. we enjoyed and appreciated the kitchen team’s really good cooking, every dish was perfect. from the starters to the stinging nettle dumpling soup, the fish, the prawn, THE DUCK omg the skin was so fatty and perfectly rendered. dessert was rhubarb based - super tangy refreshing and light, just the way i like it. portions and pacing were perfect too. im a super picky singaporean diner and its really hard for me to be impressed - for me this meal was 10/10!

Published on Main in Vancouver is a must for food lovers. The dishes are creative and beautifully plated—standouts include the savory aebleskiver and the 11-course tasting menu. The space is stylish but relaxed, with friendly, knowledgeable staff. Not surprised, because it’s earned a Michelin star and tops Canadas best restaurants list. Will be returning over and over again

Always a terrific experience here! Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable so it's fun to heek out with them over the food and ingredients. Every dish is a wonderful journey and it's great seeing how playful and inventive they can be with their food and drinks. Our party was lucky enough to try the tasting menu this visit (I've been twice) nd everything we had was incredible! However, from the ala carte menu my favourite things I've had are the maitake mushroom fritters, the Hay, and the bee pollen milk buns. Also, if you like sweet things then for drinks I would HIGHLY recommend the Pollinator made with spiced honey (pictured). It's my favourite drink now and I really hope it's still on the menu next time I am lucky enough to visit!

Delicious meal for a date night or special event. We started with the chilled scallops which had pickled magnolia petals to our surprise. White asparagus which was highly recommended but probably the most underwhelming of the dishes. A fish dish, the KFC mushroom and the most amazing dish of all, the mushroom gnocchi! The two desserts were also good, but that gnocchi I'm still thinking about it! My partner liked the coffee as well, it was a nice addition at the end of the meal. We will go back and try some other dishes next time, definitely getting the gnocchi again.

First time here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. There was a line up outside before it opened at 5 which we didn't expect, attesting to the restaurant's popularity. When the restaurant opened, the line moved through fairly quickly and we were seated in no time. The host also acknowledged our wedding anniversary. The restaurant was pretty much full at 530 pm. A very helpful explanation was given about the menu before we got started. We had the tasting menu and wine pairing. We really loved every dish. My wife who does not usually eat lamb found the lam delicious as the breed used did not have lanolin in the meat. The restaurant gave us some extra treats and a small gif to celebrate our wedding anniversary which was very appreciated. We really had an excellent experience!

One of the meals and the best experiences ever. Food was over the top good and the service just right. We did the tasting menu with wine and recommend going this way so you can try so many things. Thanks to Dennis for taking care of us.
